HostGator currently has a deal going on that will save you 50% on VPS (virtual private server) hosting. This discount does not work for any non-VPS hosting plans, but you can find discounts for those plans on our main HostGator discount code page.
HostGator's 50% discount only applies to the months that you prepay for during registration. If you choose to pay by the month and only pay for 1 month when you register, you'll only get 1 month at 50% off and have to pay full price for each additional month. HostGator doesn't offer 50% off very often (generally only Black Friday and Cyber Monday), so we strongly recommend prepaying for as many months as possible to lock in the 50% off for all of those months.
You can actually prepay for up to 1 year with HostGator's VPS hosting plan. This means you can also save 50% for all of those months!
If you're worried about prepaying for a lot of months up front, HostGator offers a really good refund policy. They'll refund all of your money for up to 45 days, and after the 45 days is up, they'll still refund you for any unused months that you've already paid for. This reduces pretty much all of the risk, so as mentioned before, we strongly recommend prepaying for as many months as you're able to up front.
